Yes, I’ve accidentally watched Entertainment Tonight again – or rather listened to it from the kitchen while I was making lunch – and I found out about this whole “search for a lead singer for INXS” reality TV show that’s starting tonight or tomorrow in the States. I knew there was some sort of competition happening for it but I didn’t realize it was a whole TV program!

One of the things that pricked my ears up though were the hosts. Now I forget who the girl was but the other person hosting the show was none other than Dave Navarro! He of Jane’s Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers fame. It’s pretty weird that he’s hosting the show but I’m glad he’s doing something at least.

It reminded me that I actually have some photographs of him floating around here somewhere? I’m not sure why they’re still here but they belong to my ex girlfriend who’s a friend of his. I have photographs of him in a pimp’s hat, photographs of his girlfriend at the time, photographs of his fridge and photographs of his coffee table – which is actually a real coffin, as I understand it? There’s also a photo of Anthony Kiedis and his family – brothers, sisters mother, that sort of thing – kicking around here for some bizarre reason?

I need to find these again, put them in an envelope and send them to Dominique! That’s if she still wants them? I might even scan one or two of the funnier ones and post them up on here. That is unless someone tells me not to, of course! Dominique if you’re reading this then let me know if you want them or not, can ya?

Lastly, I decided to do that “How American Are You?” quiz that’s floating around the blogosphere. Being Australian I thought it would be interesting to say the least. The fact that it’s a very short, and rather silly, quiz also helped me to decide to give it a try. I was surprised to find out that I was 38% American, which I thought was pretty cool seeing as I’ve spent quite a bit of time there in the last few years. Amy, who’s actually American, also did the quiz when I told her about it. She scored a disturbing 43%!
